Ingredients:

Cooking Instructions:

  1. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a 14-by-10-inch rectangle. Cut lengthwise into twenty 1/2-inch-wide strips. Repeat the process with the remaining sheet of puff pastry.

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick baking mat. In a small bowl, whisk together an egg with 1 tablespoon of water.

  3. Place one hot dog half on the narrow end of one strip of puff pastry. Wrap the hot dog in the puff pastry, spiraling down to enclose it like a mummy. Brush with the egg mixture to make it stick. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Repeat the process with the remaining hot dog halves and puff pastry.

  4. Brush the tops of the wrapped hot dogs with the egg mixture and transfer them to the refrigerator to chill for 15 minutes.

  5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

  6. Transfer the baking sheets to the oven and bake until they are puffed and golden, which should take around 20 to 25 minutes.

  7. Let them cool slightly before serving with ketchup and mustard.
