In this informative dinner talk we will explore how to formulate an optimal, nutrient dense, Ketogenic diet.

The talk will explore the following:

  • How we can prioritise the foods we eat by balancing nutrient density, insulin load and energy density to suit out individual goals and current metabolic health.
  • Common plateaus and pitfalls and how to overcome this.
  • How to practically apply this lifestyle with meals ideas, preparation and planning.

Below read a bit about the three presenters that will be talking at the dinner:

Marty Kendall is an engineer blogger at Optimising Nutrition. He has a passionate interest in nutrition and likes to optimise things with numbers. His wife is a type 1 diabetic and because of this and his predisposition to type 2 diabetes he embarked on quest to refine their diet to prioritize low insulinogenic, high fibre and high nutrient density foods and he has done this with great success.

Leanne Scott is a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTA), Integrative Health Coach (IIN) and a Certified Gluten Practitioner trained by Dr. Tom O'Bryan. Leanne is the Australian Lead Instructor and International Facilitator for the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) Australia - the only Functional Nutritional educational program in the country.

Leah Williamson is a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTA), Founder of the Brisbane Paleo Group and runs events with Low Carb Down Under. Leah is based in Brisbane and runs her practice Nourishing Conversations.

A couple of months back we wrote to let you know that Harris Farm Markets in Bondi Beach are now stocking our Natural Aussie Snag, Natural Italian Sausage, Natural Vienna (Hot Dog), Natural Kabana, Natural Beef Salami that are all FODMAP Friendly certified, Gluten Free (Coeliac Australia Endorsed), Kosher (Kosher Australia Certified).  They are produced from free range, grass fed, hormone free beef.  They contain no artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives.  Oh yeah, and they happen to be delicious too!
